Re-learning how to breathe reduces tension on our hearts, reduces blood pressure, and helps with other imbalances such as anxiety, insomnia, and brain fatigue.
A session with Dr. Rodgers includes one-on-one instruction using a computer-based biofeedback program that gently guides you into the relaxed breathing technique.
An initial 30-minute session is $70; follow-up 15-minute sessions are $45.
Practice at home. Once trained, rental of a portable unit for $25/week can be used to re-enforce breathing technique and help you through stressful situations.
