Idaho Naturopathic Medicine is teaming up with Dr. Devin Orton, DC to offer an innovative cardiovascular health screening. Using arterial pulse wave analysis, Dr. Orton measures the elasticity of your interior arteries in 20 minutes or less.  The more elastic an artery, the more able it is to handle changes in blood pressure. If internal arteries such as the aorta are too stiff, the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart events increase.

The procedure utilizes a wrist watch-like device which transmits its data to a lap top computer.  Dr. Orton provides an analysis of your arteries at the time of visit. Dr. Rodgers will then review the data and make suggestions for treatment or referral as needed.
